Testimonials

Dear Biagio,

I hope this finds you happy and healthy. I wanted to send you a note of great thanks. On behalf of my husband, Dave & myself we cannot express how much you made our day last Thursday. We loved seeing Mateo’s farm, we adored the formaggio factory—not to mention the freshest cheese we’ve ever tasted! And let’s talk about Mama and her restaurant….. in a word: YUM 😋! Perhaps you could suggest to her to hire you as a full-time entertainer along with herself! 😁The singing was a special treat for which we will never forget. Thank you !
In other words, you made our trip to the Amalfi coast more than we could imagine.. thank you for all the bits of information along the way. You are a fantastic human being with a zest for life that’s infectious!

Grazie and Arrivederci Or as I’d rather say, until we meet again.

Warmly,
Wanda and David

Biagio pulled up in front of our hotel right on time.

It has been 5 years but we recognized each other right away. Man hugs and kisses … it was so nice to see him again! We hired him to show us around and he most certainly did not disappoint. I had told him that Rick was a photographer. Biagio had a very worn out copy of a Sept 12, 2015 New York Times travel piece on this area and took Rick to every one of the spots used for those fotos. Amazing. Thru Praiano and into Positano for a top to bottom tour. On the way we stopped at the same wonderful ceramics shop where we bought a table years before. The owner (very nice) took us upstairs for a private showing. Yes, we are having more things shipped home. For our next stop Biagio takes us to the San Pietro Hotel. A ‘Rich and Famous’ kind of place with unbelievable views and foto ops of Positano. Then back towards Amalfi to Ravello, a beautiful Medieval town up in the hills. We go to lunch at La Cantinella … Mama’s place. We tried to figure out the menu but Biagio comes over and says ‘Mama will take care of you’. Wine. Antipasto. 6 different styles of their cooking. Tiramisu. Dear God. And in the middle of this Mama and Biagio sing to the patrons! Incredible day. I miss him already.
Highly recommended.

Hi Biagio,
I can’t believe that two years have passed since Joann and I, and Paul and Sheila spent five wonderful days on the Amalfi Coast with Biagio.
We have wonderful memories and pictures to cherish, and we especially enjoyed having dinner with you both and Biagio’s family. I have told many of our friends about Biagio and hope that when they plan trips to Italy, they include time spent with you. In a little more than a week, a friend of ours, Dr. Todd will be staying in Ravello and spending four days with Biagio. I told him that he will have a fabulous experience and to make sure that he eats at Mama’s, and that Mama and Biagio sing for him. He also should see Paestum and the buffalo mozzarella farm and restaurant.
One night he should walk around Amalfi and visit the shops and have dinner at Biagio’s cousin’s restaurant. I also suggested that he invite you both to dinner with Biagio’s family at that lovely little restaurant in Atrani. I hope that one of these days I will have the opportunity to return to Amalfi and spend time with you again, and if either of you ever get to Florida, please let me know as I would love to see you. I think Biagio or his sons have been here.
Best regards,
Jay
